Students from across the city participated in University Interscholastic League (UIL) academic competitions with more than 50 other elementary and junior high schools. The competitions are designed to motivate and challenge students to shine academically. They are also a fun way to meet other parents and students from neighboring schools. Horn Academy placed first overall in the first HISD elementary competition of the season and won the sweepstakes award. Congratulations to the team (pictured).
