About 40 Condit Elementary School Cats, including kindergartener Sania Mehta and big sister and third grader Suria Mehta (pictured, from left), decorated gingerbread houses at an event hosted by the Condit Sociables Committee. Students gathered after school at the Bellaire Recreation Center. The sociables committee hosts events throughout the year; it has a moms art party and the fourth annual Wig and Stash couples party planned for the spring. All proceeds go toward a new school fund that raises money to purchase additional items for the new school that are beyond what is currently budgeted.
