A party of note
The Houston Symphony League holiday lunch featured a piano-playing Christmas tree courtesy of “good-natured” Marshall Maxwell dressed as a shaggy, green, decorated tree. Dr. Mary Ann Reynolds Wilkins and Nancy Strohmer greeted the 150 guests at Carolyn Mann’s festive home. Symphony League president Betty Tudor mentioned the upcoming Spring Membership meeting in March and the Wine Dinner and Collector’s Auction in April. Symphony Store chairs Julie Erickson and April Lykos brought a sampling of their jewelry, purses and other articles that are sold in the store to the party. Fran Fawcett Peterson helped get the word out.
