A smashing success
The Go Glam for GAN Gala helped raise over $100,000 for a cure for GAN. Giant axonal neuropathy (GAN) is a rare, inherited genetic disorder that affects both the central and peripheral nervous systems. Supporters included (pictured, from left) honorary co-chairs Dr. Teddy Voloyiannis and Graciela Ruiz Munoz and son Ivan Del-Puerto-Voloyiannis. Ivan was the winning bidder on the fur coat in the live auction, for his mother. Other auction items that were snagged included Rockets and Texans tickets, a stay in historic Havre de Grace, Maryland, and a viewing of Dr. Billy Cohn performing a live heart transplant.
