Kai Adlahka, Price Deering, Sam Lieberman and Davis Deering
A group of Briargrove Elementary students, including (pictured, from left) third graders Kai Adlahka, Price Deering and Sam Lieberman and kindergartner Davis Deering, competed in the 2015 Captain Kids Triathlon at Moody Gardens. For the race, they swam in the lazy river at Palm Beach and biked and ran through the Moody Gardens complex. Briargrove Elementary P.E. teacher and enrichment dean Amanda Jehn, who is a competitive triathlete and marathon runner, inspired the students to compete.
