The West University Softball Association spring-season parade and carnival will take place on Feb. 13. on the West University Elementary fields. Georgia Bailey represented her team at last year’s event. The parade starts at 9 a.m., with the carnival afterwards starting at 1 p.m. There will be bouncy houses, radar to clock pitches, face painting, confetti eggs and vendors. Chick-fil-A will be on hand to serve lunch, and Dippin’ Dots for something sweet.
