Briargrove bidders
Over 150 people attended the 2016 Briargrove Elementary Auction party at Station 3, a historic fire station in Houston's First Ward. Parents, teachers and community members enjoyed dinner and drinks from El Patio and bid on auction items such as “Naming the Back Driveway” and the coveted “Priority Parking Space.” Over $40,000 was raised, and the proceeds will go to the International Baccalaureate program, grounds, security and other initiatives. Pictured are some of the Auction Committee members, including (pictured, back row, from left) Ashley Peterson, Greer Dexter, RaeLynn Mattie-Rguig, Dabney Junell, chair Julie Economides, Elizabeth Clampitt, Jennifer Martin, (front row, from left) Shazia Kirmani, Natalie Dawley, Diane Friedl, Priscilla Aguilar and Kari Vanek. Not pictured are Laura Nelson and Stephanie Wise.
