The Junior League hosted its 68th annual charity ball, the Bon Temps Ball, and raised an impressive $904,053 to fund community programs. A New Orleans horns section greeted guests at the door along with Charity Ball chair Amy Dunn and president Mary Margaret “Mimi” Foerster. A volunteer wore a dress made of champagne glasses that doubled as a serving station for the next stop. As if that weren’t enough, the after party featured an over-the-top Mardi Gras float and dueling piano player belting out songs at the request of attendees. Abby Swalick Khatiblou, Kevin Comiskey and Jarrod Foerster were witnesses.
