Pink romance

In 2014, Josh Wilson Loomis, who had met Katie Pink Weinstein at the University of Colorado six years earlier, surprised her at her Houston home. He flew in, and, with a bouquet of pink flowers, he escorted her to the backyard and proposed on one knee down by the lake. Speechless, she could only nod “yes” and give a big hug. Champagne was popped with her parents, Candy and David Weinstein, and her siblings, Brady, and Natalie. Josh and Katie married Aug. 29, 2015, on the Larkspur Restaurant lawn in Vail, Colorado, at sunset with the mountains as a backdrop, but just recently took a 10-day honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Drinks served at the wedding reception were “Pretty in Pink” and “Loomis Mules,” but they consumed regular margaritas in Mexico.
