Books and plants at a bargain

Friends of Spring Branch Memorial Library, including St. Cecilia Catholic Church pastor Fr. Francis Macatangay, Pat Madden, Della Marston, Elizabeth Jennings, Melinda and Joel Talley, Pat and Webb Spencer, Nancy Eubank and Frostwood Elementary School teacher Carolyn Serena, attended the annual Plant and Book Festival. The event featured a selection of books and plants, and coupons for area businesses and children’s activities. The two-day event was held at Spring Branch Memorial Library. Proceeds from the festival will be used to buy materials and enhance the library, which is part of the Harris County Library System.
