Empowering the community
A crowd of 350 guests, including Frank and Stephanie Tsuru, Sarah Golshadi and Maria and Neil Bush, filled Ecclesia near downtown in support of the non-profit Project 88, which empowers underserved students to help end generational poverty in Houston. The group supports college advisors in Houston public schools and sponsors summer success programs at Rice University. Founders Ericka and Garrett Graham celebrated the night with founding chairs Cal and Hannah McNair and Lisa and Chris Seay. This is the second year for the event, along with a golf tournament held at Blackhawk Golf Club to raise more funds. See project88.org.
