Nearly 250 guests supported Spaulding for Children during the non-profit’s second annual luncheon, hosted at Houston Country Club and chaired by Taryn Hunt Proler and Anne Halliburton Stewart (pictured, from left). KPRC’s chief meteorologist, Frank Billingsley, served as master of ceremonies for the afternoon. Billingsley, who is adopted, added a personal touch by sharing how adoption impacted his life. Spaulding for Children adoptive parent, Page Parkes, spoke to the audience about her experience adopting three siblings in 2005. Spaulding places children from the state foster-care system in adoptive homes. Also spotted were Marie Bosarge, Mary Dawson, Janet Cockrell, Maidie Ryan, Brooke Bentley Gunst, Trini Mendenhall, Michelle Wasaff, Randa Weiner, Caroline Simons, Nellie Connally, Mary Jo Hunt, Joanne Wilson, Harriet Latimer, Linwood Olson, Andrea Gentle, Kristen and Joe Lyons, Lisa Kalavar and Jacqui Kneese
