The West University chair volleyball squad is a new group that is ongoing every Tuesday at 11 a.m. The teams are practicing for the inaugural summer bash/mini Olympics and lunch Aug. 19 at the Senior Center. The event will feature chair volleyball, relay races, the cornhole game, cakewalks and a wackiest hat contest. West U will play against the Weekley YMCA, and Bellaire L.I.F.E.
