Out at first
Wranglers’ first baseman Luke Edgecomb (pictured) catches a ball from lefty pitcher Jackson Ranucci, and tags a runner out who was leading off a little too far. Luke, 10, attends West University Elementary School and has played with the 10U Wranglers for three years. He is a top-of-the-lineup batter, and plays both first base and pitcher. The 10U AA West U Wranglers competed in the USSSA Baseball Global State tournament at Big League Dreams in League City and brought home championship rings. Other team members are Anthony Equale, Knox Vacek, Wyatt Hansen, Zach Gosda, Alex Yearwood, William Suell, Evan McCarthy and Alec Schaefer; coaches are David Ranucci, Shawn Vacek and Paul Equale.
