The St. Vincent de Paul Lady Tigers (pictured) defeated Holy Name 9-8 and advanced to the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association championship game. After battling through two extra innings, the Lady Tigers ultimately fell one run short, ending the season with a 7-8 loss to St. Ambrose. The eventful game included a grand slam, a foul-ball catch against the fence and a dramatic slide into home plate.
