Briargrove Elementary 2014-16 PTO president Amanda Fisher was given a big surprise by PTO members after she presided over her last board meeting. Arriving back home after the meeting, she discovered that PTO members had decorated the outside of her house with banners, flags and pompoms to send her off with a bang. Amanda is ending a two-year term as president and has championed a number of new initiatives at the school, including enhanced security, teacher appreciation and beautification. The group also took up a collection and gave her a generous gift certificate to Louis Vuitton.
