West University residents decked in red, white and blue came out in force for the neighborhood July Fourth celebration. The firetruck led the procession as kids rode their bikes and scooters or hitched rides in wagons pulled by their parents.
Everyone ended up at Colonial Park for the pool party, complete with live music, face painting, balloon animals and picnicking.
