Edgar Alamo
Hi! My name is Edgar Alamo. I am a traditional Chinese Shar-Pei (which means I have fewer wrinkles than other types of Shar-Peis). When you visit my home, you’ll want to hold onto your important papers because I love to take paper into my mouth. It starts a fun game of catch-me-if-you-can before I give them back (or eat them, if you don’t catch me in time). I love resting my head on your feet and giving lots of puppy kisses. My parents tell me that I’m named after the poet Edgar Allan Poe but with a Texas twist. They often say that my brave, independent (“stubborn,” they say) personality has earned me my “Alamo” name. If you spot me around the neighborhood, be sure to say hi!
