Repeat district champs
The 12U Bellaire District team (pictured) won the District 16 Championship game, 8-7, against a tough West University American team. The Bellaire Little League team then headed to Sectionals, where they lost in the finals against Pearland in a back-and-forth battle to the end. These boys have played together since they were 8 years old, and have won the district championship three times. As 9U and 10U players, they also won Sectionals, and in their 10U season they made it all the way to the state finals. The all-stars are (top row, from left) Carter Dixon, Matt Chotiner, Jacob Stavinhoa, Conner Denham, Noah Beinart and Charlie Mullen; (middle row, from left) manager Corey Ayers, coach Luke Mandola, Matt Whitting, Luke Mandola, Caden Biedermann, Aidan Reichek, Cody Ayers, Josh Blum, Max Melamed and coach Rich Chotiner; and (bottom row) Reece Tiras.
