The Vestal family, including (pictured, from left, in front of the Lincoln Memorial) Jenny, Caroline, Molly, Lucy and Wesley, visited Washington D.C. this summer so that Lucy, a fifth grader at Horn, could learn more about her favorite president, Abraham Lincoln. Lucy was given a book from her second-grade teacher in Dubai at the American School of Dubai about Abraham Lincoln and, ever since then, has been obsessed by her hero. This fall, Horn students like Lucy are looking forward to the annual Boo Bash on Oct. 22. See hornpto.org.
