Memorial Middle School students got ready for their close-ups. Pictured, from left, Lauren Dietert (seventh grade), Lauren Jean "LJ" Townsend (sixth grade), Hannah Otness (sixth grade), Rocket Dixon (sixth grade) and Clara Creed (eighth) were among 30 students (elementary through high school age) who took part in Whistle Down the Wind, directed by Ron Jones with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Jim Steinman. MMS thespians participated in the first professional production in the new Queensbury Theatre in Memorial. Productions at Queensbury include A Woman in Black (through Nov. 5) and a Christmas celebration featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas (Dec. 2-18).
