Backing the blue

About 200 members of the Southside Place community, including some lucky children, got to meet a fully suited volunteer firefighter as part of Blues Night, which honored the community's first responders in the police, fire and dispatch departments. The evening was filled with live music, dinner, ice cream sundaes and dancing. Kris Holt of Greenwood King Properties organized the meet-and-greet event on the community clubhouse patio.
