Hi. My name is Colby, and I am a very lucky boy.  I was on death row at a local shelter – they thought I was an older guy because of some serious eye, ear and skin problems, so not the kind of dog most people want to adopt. But the lady who is now my mom fell in love with my photo – seems I reminded her of another dog she loved and recently lost. Lucky for me, this lady happens to be on the board for Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue, a great group that saves dogs like me – the ones that no one else wants! I am now in a fabulous forever home with two cocker “brudders” and getting the care I deserve. And by the way, I’m really not old – no more than four years, they think. I love to play, play, play!
