Cindy and Franklin Rose and Leisa Holland Nelson became grandparents for the first time. Ben Rose and Laura Max Rose, after 30 hours of labor, welcomed Selma Baines Rose on Sept. 2 on Labor Day weekend. Selma was named after Ben’s dear grandmother and the town Selma, Alabama, where the civil rights movement was historic. And Ben’s sister, Erica Rose, and Galen Gentry celebrated baby girl Holland Rose Madeline Gentry’s debut on Sept. 19. She is named with an H after Holly Harwood Skolkin, who was Erica’s aunt, and as a tribute to Galen’s native country, Holland. Erica and Galen live on the beach in the Los Angeles area. Holland has already make a splash.
