Abbey, age 5

When my family adopted me, the lady I lived with told them I was a boy, so my family named me Beau (how embarrassing). Turns out I am a girl! So, my family changed my name to Abbey. I pretty much rule the roost. I live with an annoying cat, a bunny and a big Lab puppy named Otis. He is supposed to be a great retriever. He even went away to school for a while, which I enjoyed immensely. I never had to go to school to fetch. Truth be told, I am a better retriever than Otis. I always wonder why my dad won’t take me to the duck lease. It’s ok though. I prefer retrieving balls, toys and bones in the comfort of my own home. I especially love when my family plays ping-pong. Every chance I get I swipe that little ball away from them and run off with it. I think this annoys them, but I can’t help myself.
