Outdoor Oktoberfest

A tradition for 11 years now, St. George Place has offered a beer and bratwurst party to the residents. It started at Lucette and Richard Reiger’s nine years ago as Richard wanted to recreate the fest he celebrated in his original hometown. The party now travels to other homes, and the menu also varies. The fest hosted 50 partiers at Gay and Ron Lott’s outdoor patio, decorated with twinkle lights and pink tulips. Spicy chicken, bratwurst, sauerkraut and brisket were the main attractions. Stephanie Ladobruk helped with the emails, Dr. Fayaz and Maribel Bhojani assisted with the grilling, and Bartt Shelton implemented the new PayPal option. Most of the guests walked on over. No calls were needed to Uber.
