Pie kind of day
For the third year, Briargrove Elementary hosted a Thanksgiving Pie Day. On the last day of school before Thanksgiving break, 70 pies, donated by the students’ families, were displayed in the school, and each teacher, staff member, custodian, cafeteria worker, crossing guard, police officer, mail carrier and everyone else who works to make Briargrove a great place got to pick out a pie to take home. This day has become one of the most anticipated traditions at the school. Pictured picking her pie is second-grade teacher Melissa Sullivan, with her student Vivian Fisher.
