SFL champs
The freshman Ducks (pictured) won the Southwest Football League championship with a 26-12 victory over the Longhorns. After ending the season with a 7-1 record, the first- and second-grade boys went on to defeat the Irish in the playoffs before meeting the Longhorns in the final game. During the regular season, the Ducks and Longhorns played against each other twice, and each team won once, making the championship game evenly matched. The Ducks were able to hold on in the second half with solid defense to win the game. The championship Ducks are (from left) Zach Negro, Oliver Zinn, James Young, Kyle Brooks, Pryce Cravens, Garrett Schellinger, Nicholas Starling, Case Lindsay, Charlie Adams and Lloyd Jamieson.
