Dupree dancers
Memorial Dance Center company members Eugenia Rincon, Megan McWilliams and Elizabeth Morse (pictured, from left) participated in the Dupree Dance competition and left with many awards. The Frostwood Elementary fourth graders competed in jazz, tap and hip hop. Megan also performed in a contemporary dance, and Elizabeth was part of the Memorial Dance super production number that received a Diamond award. The girls have all danced for about 5 years and spend 4-6 hours each week in the studio. Eugenia and Elizabeth are members of the Turquoise company that received platinum awards for all three numbers. Megan dances with the Amethyst company that earned both gold and platinum awards. The girls love to dance and dream of one day becoming Memorial High School Markettes, on their way to Broadway.
