The Fresh Arts Cineball partiers dressed with passion and abandon as movie characters to celebrate arts advocates Steve Gibson, Jon Deal and Frank Liu, along with Sawyer Yards and the Washington Avenue Arts District. Julia Zaraza and Fritz McDonald Jr. ran around with a knife a la Pulp Fiction, while, big-hair Vicky (“Marie Antoinette”) and Gordon Wight and “Queen of Hearts” April McMayon crossed paths on the Emerald Brick Road to the bar with victims from Hitchcock’s The Birds, Lauren and Paul Grossbard, and Clockwork Orange misfits Palmer and Merry Schooley. Also in the crowd was Joe Horzepa, Richard Vaughan, Paula Canlas and, as Chicago flappers Velma and Roxie, Artista Elisabet and Cathy Krznar.
