Real life actors
The Whole World’s a Stage could not have been more true than at the Social Book party at the Ballroom at Bayou Place. While Shakespeare roamed around, Scott Evans was working his oversized Hairspray can as Corny Collins. Jeff Henry, clad in a Phantom of the Opera cape and mask, pointed a rose as guests walked under a video mist that rolled off credits of sponsors. Most creative team went to Tirey Counts and Mary Wilson for Singing in the Rain as the duo walked around under mylar-fringe “rain” and carried a lamp post. Jada August, aka Zsa Zsa Gabor, cuddled her mini chi dog Tica. Missa Sutton, in purple hair, and Helen Perry, bejeweled with a mini feathered jeweled hat, were just glam, as well as Jennifer Roosth, Nancy Golden, Jane Page, James Crump and Joann Peterson.
