The 2017 Houston Symphony Children’s Fashion Show and Luncheon, “The Wizard of Oz,” was a hit among the 270 children and adults at the annual springtime family celebration. The event was chaired by Saula Centa Valente. Toddlers to teens walked the “yellow brick road” modeling fresh spring fashions from Macy’s. From ruby red slippers to centerpieces reminiscent of the Emerald City, the festive atmosphere was a hit. After the show, everyone enjoyed lunch and wizardly entertainment, along with crafts, photo booth and the symphony’s instrument petting zoo.
