Great minds
Rummel Creek Elementary students participated in Odyssey of the Mind creative problem-solving competition. (Pictured, from left) Kora Vavasour, Madeline Wright, Viktoria Rueda, principal Nancy Harn, James Hobson, Jacob Hobson, Marcelo Carvalho and Mateo Estrada. The 6 and 7 year olds used props and costumes to tell a story about a group that moved from one location to another. The team decided to do an African safari theme and told the story of a mother and baby elephant who were separated due to a storm. A gorilla saved the day by rescuing them after pretending to be a receptionist.
