Bellaire High School sweethearts Hannah Robbins and Ron Nates wed on March 25 at Escondido Golf and Lake Club in Horseshoe Bay. A mac ‘n’ cheese bar was set up, and latenight snacks of honey butter chicken biscuits were passed around. Guests sipped specialty cocktails including a rosé cocktail with a pink sugar rim as they danced in celebration. Hannah grew up going to summer camp on Lake LBJ, and her family spent many summers at Escondido. The bride has always said, since she was younger, that she wanted to get married at Escondido one day. Her family calls it their “happy place.” The couple met when they were 16 years old. They are going on a honeymoon in May to Santorini in Greece. They will begin their new life together in Israel, where Ron is in medical school. Parents are Lesley and Philip Robbins and Josephine and Joseph Nates.
