There’s no denial about getting older, according to Charlotte Marchesseau and Mary Maxey, who embraced the “benefits” of turning 65. They threw a birthday block party on Pine Forest Circle to celebrate. “Meals on Wheels” food trucks served pizza, sliders and Hawaiian ice. Dancing in the street to the music of Sharon Montgomery and Jerry Atwood were Annie Owen and Hal Pontez, Billie Sue and Tom Parris, Kelle and Jim Hill, Fran Fauntleroy, Charlie Geiss, Martha and Jack Plunkett, Will Elting, Suzanne Coppola and John Bebout. The clever Medicare invite was created by friends Sam Johnson and Anne Pratt.
