Teen volunteers
Noam Fetaru, Audrey Goodman, Jodie Coorsh and Roderick Harris (pictured, from left) attended the Friendship Circle Houston gala appreciation luncheon, where teenagers were honored for their volunteer efforts. The teens are paired up as “buddies” with children who have special needs. They visit and attend fun events together during the year. Supreme Court Justice Richard Bernstein from Michigan delivered a keynote address and shared his own life’s trials of being born blind and his ensuing accomplishments and life story. The luncheon said farewell to many graduating volunteers who will be moving away to college in the fall. To become an involved teen, contact [email protected].
