Geoff and Shelley Bracken hosted the Children’s Museum annual awards meeting at their fun contemporary home. Dan Castaneda was given a Hillary Farish Stratton Award for Outstanding Board Service. His fan club, Grace, Mollie and Sarah Castaneda, applauded. Lauren Bell, in a fashionable dress, accepted the Lois Drutz Boiarsky Award for Employee of the Year. Geoff announced for the gala co-chairs, Gina and Dr. Devinder Bhatia, Molly and Matthew LaFauci, that Miami Vice would be the theme for the Oct. 14, 2017, gala. The “crime-solving” team includes underwriting co-chairs Caroline and John Harrell and Rachel and Sebastien Solar and auction chair Kelly Sklar. Honorary gala chairs are Millette and Haag Sherman.
