Sensational swimmer

Duchesne Academy eighth grader Lindsey Regan (pictured) helped the Houston Racquet Club’s (HRC) summer swim team finish in second place at the Houston Country Club League Invitational Meet, which is HRC’s best finish in the club’s history. A competitive swimmer since age 5, Lindsey recently completed her ninth season on the HRC summer team and has raced at the Invitational Meet for the past eight years. She placed fourth in the 13/14 girls 50-yard breaststroke, and she anchored the medley relay team that finished third, with the fastest time in many years. Breaststroke and butterfly are her favorite strokes, but she also competes in backstroke, freestyle and the individual medley. During the school year, Lindsey swims for the Houston Country Club League USA team and Duchesne Academy’s middle school team.
