Fonn Villas Dolphins

The Fonn Villas Dolphins swim team (pictured) placed first in the 11/12 girls medley-relay event at the Memorial Spring Branch Swim Conference Meet of Champs. Every year, the top swimmers from each of the neighborhood swim clubs compete at the Meet of Champs, held at the Spring Branch Independent School District natatorium. The four seventh- and eighth-grade girls won the 100-yard event in the preliminary competition and held on to their first-place title in the finals. Fonn Villas won numerous other medals and was awarded the conference Sportsmanship Award. The Dolphins are (from left): assistant coach Emily Mitchell, Courtney Frederking (freestyle), Maddie Bregenzer (breaststroke), Sophie Harlan (backstroke), Anastasia Rubio (butterfly) and head coach Emma Knowles.
