West University Elementary School first grader Esha and her big sister, third-grader Laila Chilakapati (pictured, from left), have a fun summer planned. They will visit family in Chicago, and Laila is swimming for the West U Piranhas. After summer ends, they and all West University Elementary School families are invited to West U 101/Kindergarten meet the teacher on Aug. 24 from 12 to 1 p.m. Also, new-family orientation is Aug. 24 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The welcome-back coffee and Red Apple Sale is Aug. 28 in the cafeteria at 7:45 a.m.
