Nancy Jo Fluery Derby and Candy Hurd Trask

A group of friends celebrated turning 70 with high school buddies by their side. The Bellaire High School Class of 1965, including (pictured, from left) Nancy Jo Fluery Derby and Candy Hurd Trask, kept Cardinal pride alive with a birthday bash at the Cadillac Bar. They have stayed close throughout the years by getting together for lunch every May and November. Classmates came in from Pennsylvania, Colorado, South Carolina, Louisiana and Illinois. The group is planning another celebration for their 55th reunion.
