West University Little League’s American League 12-year-old All Stars

West University Little League’s American League 12-year-old All Stars (pictured) won the 2017 District 16 Little League championship. The team defeated Post Oak Little League twice in a three-game series to advance in the tournament. This was West University’s first district title in the Majors tournament since 2011, and only their second since 1993. WULL players have a strong history of volunteering in the community, and many of these All Stars gave time and effort to help flood victims. Their coaches and parents are proud to watch them pitch in and help. The teammates are (top row, from left) coach Winn Davis, coach Jeb Brown, manager Scott Richardson, coach Jonathan Ross; (middle row, from left) Caleb Davis, Hyatt Brown, Jonathan Redding, Will Ryals, Nick Wachel, Jordan Ross and Andrew Roy; (from row, from left) Jack Keeler, Clay Richardson, Luke Sullo, Riley Gilder, Brayden Crow, Corbin Dawes, Logan McAlpin and Nash Chickering.
