After Hurricane Harvey, some Horn Elementary School students decided to bring sweet treats to Bellaire police officers to thank them for their service to the community. The girls, (from left) Haley Wylie, Victoria McCarthy, Kate McCarthy, Mia Laviage and Jacqueline Wylie, are pictured with officers (from left) Aristeo Carranza, Juan Trujillo and Alex Marcotte. They brought homemade sweets and treats and visited with the officers. The girls were excited to see a familiar face as Officer Carranza works to help direct traffic at Horn Elementary.
