Briargrove Elementary School's Girl Scout Troop 149017 kicked off the school year with a community-service project to help out a school that lost its library during Hurricane Harvey. The troop, made up of third-grade girls, partnered with other troops at Briargrove to hold a book drive for Roland P. Harris Elementary. Leading the troop for the third year is Emily Schulz (pictured), whose daughter Sophia is a troop member.
