Alba Ortiz was watching the water rise while she was on her balcony with her husband at work. She called out, and it didn’t seem anyone was around. She had been optimistic, but maybe she waited too long? She heard noise in the distance and hollered to be helped. A boat swung around and picked her up, and soon other people came out to be rescued too.
