When the power went out and water covered their Bunker Hill street and entire front yard, Cal and Connie Dalton donned their necklace fans to keep them cool and turned on miner head lights as they moved furniture around and put items in plastic tubs. They gathered important documents, cash and spare batteries. The only water that came in was through the roof! Despite her own misfortune, Connie, in high-water boots, grabbed her repair tools and was gone all day every day as she delivered cleaning buckets and supplies, sterilized dishes, washed clothes and fed victims from her own resources and served on the safety team for Chapelwood.
