Emily Feinstein Jalnos of Houston and Brandon Jalnos of San Antonio (pictured, at their rehearsal dinner) met in high school in BBYO, a Jewish teen movement. They both found themselves with plans to attend Indiana University. They texted and talked and finally went on their first date to see a movie. Following college, they moved to Houston, where Brandon attended South Texas Law School. Emily is the literacy specialist/dyslexia interventionist at Briargrove Elementary. Brandon proposed on April 30, 2016. The couple chose Oct. 21, 2017, as their wedding day. The weekend started with a bridal luncheon at Ouisie’s Table, followed by a rehearsal dinner at Jackson Street BBQ and the wedding at The Houstonian Hotel. “Our ceremony was outside by the huge tree – it was all lit up. It was magical,” said the bride. “I can’t imagine it being any more perfect.”
