Oliver
You may already know me from walking the neighborhood – I’m Oliver from Winwood Lane in Bunker Hill. I’m a little famous because I post on Facebook about the things I see when I walk. It started when the Memorial Drive bridge construction interrupted my usual walking route, but recently I’ve shared news about Hurricane Harvey, subsequent traffic and my close encounters with local felines and those Sandalwood ducks. I’m also notorious for my barking (neighbors already know this). I was surrendered to the Houston Bureau of Animal Control (BARC) in 2010 when I was under a year old and already heartworm positive. The future looked bleak, but then I was adopted by my family! I’m part Clumber Spaniel, an unusual breed my family knows and loves. Now I’m the crotchety old dog every family wants. Check shelters for your next pet because you might find your own star!
