Families gathered on the first night of Chanukah, Tues., Dec. 12, at Bellaire Town Square for “Flipped Out Chanukah,” the annual Bellaire Chanukah Festival hosted by The Shul of Bellaire. The evening included a dinner buffet, inflatables, carnival booths, Chanukah crafts, bottle flipping, latkes, gelt, a “Coin-orah” to be distributed for Chanukah gelt to victims of Harvey, plus a “Flip & Fly” aerial show.   

Host families included Jennifer and Bellaire Mayor Andrew Friedberg, Dana and Kenneth Katz, Melanie and Todd Lowther, Jennifer and Matt Pittsford, Diana and Michael Racusin, Heather and Avi Rasowsky, Deborah and Myles Rose, Morgan and Kevin Steinberg, Rachel and Levi Strauss and Lindsay and Elan Tavor.
