Photo safari up for grabs

Mark your calendars for the annual Park Lovers’ Ball benefiting Friends of West University Place Parks on Feb. 10 at the Hilton Americas. Event co-chairs Jennifer and Daniel Blum and Jennifer and William Swallen are excited to showcase a 13-night luxury photo adventure in Africa in the live auction. Pictured are previous trip winners exploring Africa on their Segways: (from left) Kristin Lindquist, Carl Decker, Libby Decker and Griffin Decker. The adventure will range from exploring the thundering waters of Victoria Falls to the southernmost tip of Africa. “I’m a big proponent of children being outside and stepping away from technology to play, climb, move and meet new friends.
